It makes perfect sense and the message is timely. I was having a conversation with an individual the other day (more like me listening) and after a few minutes they said, "you don't care, do you?". I responded with, "Oh I care, but, my emotional bucket is empty. I can't "fix" every wrong in this world ". I'm not sure the answer was accepted in the spirit I intended it to be received though ...

These .... let's call them encounters ... can be particularly stressful when they involve your adult children. Christine often says,' what are they going to do when we're no longer around?' And my astute response is ... 'I don't know.'
